What it does

Sit in 40°C water infused with billions of ultra-fine oxygen nanobubbles — small enough to pass through skin pores and into soft tissue. Powered by the Bimini NanoJet system, the same technology used by Rice University Sports Medicine. A novel hydrotherapy modality that combines the relaxation of warm-water immersion with the perfusion of oxygen.

Hydrotherapy reimagined.

  • Ultra-fine oxygen nanobubbles 2,500× smaller than your skin pores, perfusing into soft tissue while you soak
  • Used in collegiate athletic recovery — Rice University Sports Medicine has used the Bimini NanoJet system with over 100 athletes
  • Participants consistently report a sense of deep relaxation and mental clarity after sessions
  • May support recovery between training sessions — early observational data suggests improvements in recovery markers. Results vary
  • Warm-water immersion at 40°C — promotes a sense of recovery, circulation and calm
The science

Ultra-fine bubbles (nanobubbles) are small enough to pass through skin pores into soft tissue, allowing oxygen perfusion alongside the relaxation of warm-water immersion. An early observational evaluation by Rice University Sports Medicine (Miller, Paske & Tran, 2022 — whitepaper, n=10, no control group) reported user-perceived improvements in recovery and mental clarity. This is preliminary signal, not a randomized controlled trial.

Who it's for
01

Athletes between hard sessions

A relaxing warm-water modality that pairs hydrotherapy with oxygen perfusion. Used in collegiate sports medicine as part of a wider recovery toolkit between training days.

02

Anyone chasing deep relaxation

40°C warm-water immersion is its own reward. Users consistently report a sense of mental clarity and calm afterwards — a different kind of recovery to ice or compression.

03

Curious about something new

A novel modality in the South African recovery landscape. Distinct from the ice bath (cold) and infrared sauna (radiant heat) — this is warm water with ultra-fine oxygen nanobubbles. Worth experiencing.

Session timeline
01
Pre-session
Hydrate well before arriving. Shower-rinse, change into swimwear, towel provided. No goggles or eye protection required.
02
Enter the water
Step into the warm 40°C bath. The NanoJet system is already running — the water carries billions of ultra-fine oxygen nanobubbles, invisible to the eye, giving the water a soft, slightly cloudy quality.
03
Soak
Settle in for the full 30 minutes. Most users find their breathing slows naturally. There is nothing active to do — the immersion and the nanobubbles are the treatment.
04
Finish
Step out, rinse, dry off. Hydrate again. Many users report a deep sense of relaxation and mental clarity — give yourself a few minutes before driving or training.
Medical screening required

Warm-water immersion at 40°C is a cardiovascular stimulus. Some conditions require medical clearance before your first session — including pregnancy, uncontrolled hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and certain medications. Our team screens every first-time client.

Frequently asked
No — opposite, in fact. An ice bath uses cold immersion to constrict blood vessels and dampen acute inflammation. Oxygen Therapy is warm-water (40°C) immersion with ultra-fine oxygen nanobubbles — a relaxation and recovery modality, not a cold-shock one.
