Red Light
12 min12 min

Mitochondrial priming, training-safe. Replaces old sauna-first opener.

02
Sauna
15 min15 min @ 40-50°C

Mild heat acclimation - plasma volume, cardiac output. Priming not depleting.

03
Ice Bath
3 min2-3 min @ 10-12°C

Short burst, finish cold. Norepinephrine spike for focus. Sub-clinical - does NOT blunt adaptation.

Evidence base

The science behind it.

Theurot 2024

Post-CWI HRV: RMSSD SMD +0.61. Cold immersion produces a measurable vagal-tone rebound.

Roberts 2015

Short cold (<3 min) preserves the norepinephrine response without blunting training adaptation.

Laukkanen 2015

Pre-event heat priming improves cardiac output and plasma volume.
